For an alterative starting point to your hike you can get a ride on the lifts, like the Kaiserburgbahn, which is only a few minutes away from our House Sonnblick. The rides on the lifts take you up to a higher elevation and you can reach fantastic destinations at these heights. Explore the higher regions and find one of the 40 alpine huts in the Nockberg mountains and enjoy a rest there. There is no better way to enjoy a nice sit-down and snack than while marvelling at the stunning panoramic views at this level of elevation up the mountain.
Tip: Here in the Nockberg mountains you can find a very special herb: the Alpine valerian. This fabulous herb is known to be activating, harmonising, and calming.
